By-Laws

The Bylaws of South East Asian Rural Development Fund, Inc., identify SEARDF, Inc. as a not for profit Corporation under the laws of the State of Florida. The Articles of Incorporation were filed in the office of the Secretary of State of Florida and Seardf, Inc. is classified as a public charity under the Code: 170(b) (1) (A) (vi) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as of March 2007. All donations are fully tax deductible. The Corporation has been organized exclusively for charitable purposes, including such purposes as the making of distributions to organizations in South East Asia that qualify as exempt organizations under Chapter 617, Florida Status and Rules, or the corresponding section of any future Florida tax code. The fiscal year of the Corporation is from January 1 to December 31.

The Board of Directors shall be responsible for the fiscal management of the Corporation, which includes the preparation and adoption of budgets.

Roberts Rules of Order (latest edition) shall govern the conduct of Corporation meetings when not in conflict with the Articles of Incorporation or these Bylaws.
